Helmet and Pack Hanger
This is an easy one for you DIYers. I wanted to get my helmets, packs, and whatever else off my "workbench," which is just a fold-out table... Stay tuned, I plan to make a real workbench at some point.

Steps:
- Figure out the length of dowels you need. I made 7 pegs, each 5" long, with 1" nubs on the ends. 7 pegs x 5" each = 35" of smaller dowel; and 7 nubs x 1" each = 7" of larger dowel.
- Figure out the length of the beam you need. The Pegs should be spaced out slightly wider than your helmet, so [Width of helmet + 1"] x the number of pegs you want = length of beam. Yay for math! Or just wing it, that's cool too.
- Cut all your pieces to the correct lengths.
- Round over the edges the end-nubs with sandpaper.
- Drill a hole all the way through the center of each nub.
- Drill holes about 1" into each side of each peg.
- Drill holes all the way through the beam where you want the pegs.
- Assembly: One screw goes through each nub into one end of a peg. Another screw goes through the beam into the other end of the peg.
